DIPLOMA IN INTERIOR DESIGN (2 Years)
In this course you learn advance Interior Design which would involve advance orthographic projections, isometric, axonometric & perspective views. You will also study elements of interior space, material & construction & scheme detailing. Softwares taught – AutoCAd, Photoshop, 3Ds Max & Sketchup.

CURRICULUM
Diploma in Interior Design is a 2-year program. In this course we cover all aspects of interior design required for residential, commercial & hospitality interiors along with required softwares to make the student ready to start working in the industry. The course structure includes –
- FORM, SPACE & design process – Study of form & space & the relation between them, Understanding thought process for design.
- GRAPHICS – Basic Design, Compositions, Manual Drafting – Plan, sections & end views, Sections & Dimensions, Isometric, Axonometric & Orthographic Projetcions
- PERSPECTIVE SKETCHING – Learning different kinds of perspective sketching. Understanding Picture Plain, Station Point, Vanishing Point, Eye Level, etc.
- anthropometrics & elements of interior space – Theory of standard dimension based on human figures for activities and functions. Study of interior elements used in a residential space like floorings, doors, windows, etc.
- AutoCAD & Sketchup – Learning drafting on AutoCAD, Creating 3D models on Sketchup
- SCHEME DETAILING – Learning how to make working drawings of furniture, floorings, plumbing, ceilings, etc.

- material & construction I – Study of materials used in residential interiors, Learning basic building construction practices
- INTERIOR SERVICES I – Study of all services used in residential interiors like waste disposal, electrical, plumbing, etc.

- History of interior Design – Study of the complete History of Interior Design from the early classical period till the current modern era.
- material & construction II – Detailed study of a wide range of materials used in all kind of interiors from residential to commercial to hospitality.

- LIGHTING – Study of different kinds of lighting, luminaries & fixtures used in different interiors.
- INTERIOR SERVICES ii – Study of all services used in commercial & hospitality interiors like air conditioning, fire safety, etc.
- 3DS MAX & PHOTOSHOP – Creating 3D models & final rendered outputs of interior concepts.
