International Admissions

1. Who is an international student?

  1. Foreign Students – Citizen of countries other than India who do not hold an Indian passport.
  2. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) – All the existing ‘Persons of Indian Origin’ card holders registered as such shall be deemed to be Overseas Citizens of India card holders (OCI).
  1. Non Resident Indian (NRI) – A student is eligible to apply as a Non Resident Indian (NRI) if he/she is an Indian National and has appeared for either 10th or 10+2 (equivalent to the Indian 10th or 12th) examination outside India.
  2. Overseas Citizen of India – A student is eligible to apply as OCI if he/she is granted with Overseas Citizenship of India and has an OCI card.

2. What is the eligibility criterion for international students to apply for admission at Artemisia College ?

All students who have completed 12 years of schooling in their country, which is equivalent to 12 years of schooling in India are eligible to apply for admission at Artemisia College. Students who have recently completed their last year of high school examination but do not have the marks-sheets (transcripts) as their results are yet to be declared can also apply subject to the condition that they finally pass their high school examination and are able to submit their final marks-sheet / transcript. Admissions of students will be cancelled who fail in their high school examinations or are unable to submit documents to prove their completion of 12 years of education making them eligible to study in College / University. To find whether you are eligible to apply for admission, please refer to the list of examinations in various countries acceptable for admission to Artemisia College, by visiting Admission Eligibility.

3. English Language Requirements  : Students applying for admission are NOT required to submit the test scores of English language tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, etc. However, as the medium of instruction in Artemisia College is English, it is expected that the students should be able to read, write, speak in English & understand spoken English.

4. Steps in the On-Line Application

  • Complete the On-line Application (There is no application fee for international students)
  • Email the supporting documents at intladmissions@artemisiacollege.com
  • Application Deadline Date – 30 April 2022. However, we shall continue to accept applications after the application deadline date provided seats are available. After 30 April 2021, please email us at intladmissions@artemisiacollege.com to check the availability of seats before submitting your online application for admission.

5. Supporting Documents :

  • Scanned Copy of Class X marks-sheet / transcript or equivalent
  • Scanned Copy of Class XII marks-sheet / transcript or equivalent (if available). If not currently available, you must email it, when available, to the International Admissions Office at intladmissions@artemisiacollege.com
  • Scanned Copy of your passport (pages showing your name, address, country, birth date & photograph)
  • Copy of your passport-size photograph (front facing photo)

6. On-line video call interview : Once we receive your On-line application, the International Admissions Office shall contact you to conduct an on-line video call interview.

7. Offer of Admission : If offered admission, you shall be sent a provisional Admission letter through email. You shall have to confirm your admission by sending Admission Confirmation deposit of US$ 500.00, which is part of the tuition fee and will be adjusted accordingly. On receiving the Admission Confirmation deposit, you shall be sent the Final Admission Offer letter, which you can use for the purpose of obtaining the Student Visa. Admission Confirmation Deposit will be refunded ONLY when the applicant is unable to pass class XII or is unable to obtain student visa.

8. Apply for your Student Visa : After receiving the Final Admission Offer from Artemisia College, you must apply for the student visa at the nearest Indian Embassy / High Commission of India as it usually takes 1-4 weeks to get the Indian Student Visa, if your Visa application is complete with all required supporting documents. The International Students Office (ISO) iso@artemisiacollege.com will assist you with the Visa process.
